First nest for the season found
The first Red-tail nest for this breeding season has been found and the landholder is eligible for the $500 payment for a new nest site.
The nest was located about a month ago and later confirmed by the Recovery Team to be a Red-tail nest. Better still was the fact that the tree had not been previously recorded as a nest tree.
The payments for locating new nests are funded by a grant from Nature Foundation of South Australia. For all of the details on how the scheme works go to our Nest Incentive page.
