Red-tails are often confused with the more common Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo. The easiest way to distinguish between them is by listening to their call.

Normally we might expect the Red-tails to turn up in the Buloke around March but there were sightings from two weeks ago of Red-tails investigating Buloke in the Bringalbert area and then last week they were seen actually feeding just a bit further west near Benayeo.
